Privacy at SheetShow

The short version

We collect as little data as possible. No cookies. No personal profiles. No selling data. We track anonymous usage metrics to improve the product, and that's it.

What we collect

Anonymous traffic data

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how many people visit SheetShow, where they come from, and what devices they use. This uses no cookies, stores no personal data, and cannot identify individual visitors. It's GDPR-compliant by design.

Anonymous usage events

When you use SheetShow, we log anonymous events like “an analysis was run” or “a dashboard was classified as operational.” These events help us understand which features are useful and how to improve the product. We track:

• What type of artifact was analyzed (dashboard, slide, etc.)
• Which analysis mode was used
• Whether the redesign section was opened
• General performance metrics (response time, token usage)

We do NOT track: your name, email, IP address, or any content from your uploaded images. Your access code is stored as an irreversible hash — we couldn't recover it even if we wanted to.

Your uploaded images

When you upload a dashboard, slide, or report, it is sent to an AI model (Google Gemini or OpenAI) for analysis. SheetShow does NOT store your uploaded images. Once the analysis is complete, the image exists only in your browser session. We have no access to your files after processing.

Please note that the AI provider may process your image according to their own data policies. If your image contains sensitive business data, consider redacting confidential values before uploading.

Access codes

Your access code is stored in your browser's localStorage so you don't have to enter it every time. It is not sent to any server except during validation. You can clear it by clearing your browser's site data.

What we don't do

• No cookies (zero, none)
• No advertising or ad tracking
• No selling or sharing data with third parties
• No personal profiles or user accounts (yet)
• No fingerprinting
